Bio

Qinru Xie is a visual artist who explores the intersection of philosophy, reality, and perceptions. She studied at Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai for her bachelor's degree, then completed her MFA at California College of the Arts (2021–2023).

Based in Toronto, she specializes in art documentation, exhibition photography, and event photography.

Artist Statement

Her work aims to bridge the gap between philosophy and art, creating immersive photography and video installations using light, color, and composition. She believes art possesses the potential to reshape our comprehension of ourselves.
